Razorback E-Tickets implemented for 2012 Football Season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Razorback E-Tickets, a customer friendly interactive digital ticketing solution, has been implemented for the 2012 University of Arkansas football season. The easy to use fan interactive system was launched for the 2012 baseball season and is currently being used at Baum Stadium. The system will be used for football games played at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville beginning next fall.
With the change to digital ticket scanning, Razorback Football fans will benefit from the heightened protection against counterfeit tickets and can take advantage of new digital ticketing services including print-at-home single game tickets and ticket transfers for season ticket holders.

“We are excited about the tremendous success we have had with the Razorback E-Tickets in baseball and are looking forward to offering our fans the same convenient options for the 2012 football season,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “Razorback E-Tickets gives our fans the opportunity to buy online and print their tickets 24 hours-a-day, seven days a week. With these interactive features, fans should never have to stand in the will call line at the ticket office again. Log in, print at home and go straight to the gate.”
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, like many other college and professional venues, will scan all tickets using a bar-code on each ticket to verify admission. Scanning will identify counterfeit and stolen tickets and provide improved security and service. Help windows will be located at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium at Gates 1, 13 and 16 to help fans with any ticket scanning issues or to answer questions regarding the new technology. It is recommended that fans plan on arriving earlier than normal to avoid any delays in entering the stadium in the initial implementation of the new digital ticketing system.
University of Arkansas students, who have purchased the Razorback Access Pass, will gain access to Donald W. Reynolds Stadium via their student ID cards at Gate 17. Students must enter the gate to have their ID scanned and be credited with RazorReward points.
Fans that purchase single game tickets to Razorback Football games in Fayetteville will no longer need to wait for tickets to arrive in the mail or plan on picking up tickets at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on game day. Single game ticket purchasers may now print them at the office or at home using a standard printer. Each print-at-home ticket arrives as a separate attachment and should be printed on a separate piece of  8 1/2 x 11-inch white paper using either black or color ink. A print-at-home ticket should be treated just like any other ticket.
For fan security, print-at-home tickets are individually bar-coded.  The bar-code allows one scan per entry so any attempts to duplicate, alter or sell any copies of the print-at-home ticket may result in admittance being refused to the event.
Another added feature of Razorback E-Tickets, allows season ticket holders who encounter scheduling conflicts to e-mail their tickets to another person as part of the ticket transfer program. For a nominal handling fee, ticket holders may forward their tickets to other fans who can then print the tickets at home for use on game day. The handling fee can also be charged to the person receiving the tickets. If the tickets are not utilized, no fee is assigned.
Season ticket holders must log in to their online account at ArkansasRazorbacks.com to transfer tickets. Bar-codes are printed on each transferred ticket and scanners are used at each entrance to validate the tickets. Once a ticket transfer is made, the original ticket becomes null and void and may not be used for admittance. Ticket transfers may only be utilized with season tickets and are not available for purchased single game tickets. All ticket transfers must be completed two hours before the start of the event.
