Lady Grizzlies Earn Championship in the Jarius Wright Warriors Tournament

Lady Grizzlies take top honors at Jarius Wright Warriors Tournament

The Lady Grizzlies of Warren captured the championship in the Jarius Wright Warriors Tournament Saturday, March 14 in Drew Central.  The team played against Monticello at 10:00 a.m. coming out victorious 33-5.  They advanced to play Lake Village at noon where they won 30-13.  They took on McGehee at 4:00 p.m. in the final game and defeated them 16-10.

The coach for the team is Kevin Lasiter.  The players are Makenzie Lasiter, Kaelie Temple, Maddie Anders, India Young, Tyshuna Stepps, and Paris Wright.
