Work Begins to Revive Axley Field as a Soccer Facility

Dirt work began this week in preparation for the construction of a new soccer field and concession stand on the grounds of Axley Field, the former home of the Warren Lumberjacks prior to the building of Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium.  The work is being financed by a grant equally shared between the City of Warren and the Warren School District.
