UAM Baseball Ranked 25th Nationally

MONTICELLO - The University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team has been ranked No. 25 in this week's Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division II National Top 30.

This is UAM's first national ranking of the 2016 season. The Weevils are currently tied for first place in the Great American Conference with an overall record of 26-11 and a 17-7 mark in league games.

UAM has won all but one of its three-game conference series this season, and has swept three series including most recently three wins over East Central this past weekend at Weevils Field.

The Weevils are back in action today at Harding for a single non-conference game, prepping for a three-game GAC road series against Southeastern Oklahoma State this weekend in Durant, Oklahoma. Southeastern (24-18, 19-8 GAC) is just four one-thousandths of a point behind the Weevils in the GAC standings.
