Warren Baseball Defeats DeWitt

The Warren Baseball team traveled to DeWitt Friday March, 9th and came away with a 10-8 victory. In the words of Coach Brian Eagle, Hayden Lassiter, "went crazy" by gong 4 for 4 with two homeruns, a single and a double, with 4 runs scored and 5 RBI's.  Gage Reep pitched well going five innings, giving up two earned runs.  Kendall Pope came in in relief and got the win by retiring the final three hitters.  Cade Reep, Treylon Burks, Braden Curry and Joseph Jones each had a hit in the game.

Coach Eagle stated he was very proud of his team for going on the road and fighting through a tough game to get the win.  Warren travels to Parkers Chapel Monday to play a non conference game.

This Lumberjack team is very young with one junior and no seniors.  They continue to compete every game.
