There are good seasons and then there are historic seasons. The Ladyjack soccer team finished off their historic and memorable season with a 4 to 1 victory over the Hamburg Lady Lions Friday night in Hamburg.   The victory capped off a season that saw the Ladyjacks win their final 12 games in a row and claim their first ever conference title with a conference record of  9 - 0.

The night started off with Ladyjack stalwart Hannah Richey scoring her 22nd goal of the season to give Warren a 1 - 0 lead.  Hannah would add to her goal total later in the game when another one of her shots found the back of the net.  Freshmen star Isabel Densmore also chipped in with another goal from her devastating corner kick to add to the Warren lead.  Rounding out the scoring was Senior captain Anahi Rostro, who beat the Hamburg goalie with a perfectly placed shot in the lower corner of the goal.

As has been the Ladyjack routine all year, these goals came in a flurry and allowed Warren to cruise to a well deserved win.  Coach Quoss said, "We had a great night.  We got to play everybody on the roster and I think our reserves played hard and our future looks bright with them.  I was especially proud of my seniors Carlye Mitchell, Anahi Rostro, Taylor Domineck, Kennedy Brown, and Kimmi Aguilar and how they have represented Warren with pride all year."

The Ladyjacks will be taking on Arkadelphia in round 1 of the state tournament Thursday, May 12 at 5 pm in Harrison.  Coach Quoss added, "We are looking forward to competing with the best teams in the state.  I know that we will compete hard and be a difficult team for anybody to handle.  These girls have worked so hard this year and it has been an honor to be their coach.  It would mean so much to these girls if you come out and show your support at the meet and greet this Tuesday night at First Baptist Church at 6:30 pm."
