Axley Field Coming Back to Life as a Soccer Field

For many who played football or marched in the band on Axley Field, the day the lights and the bleachers came down was a sad event.  However, with the financial assistance of a grant where the City of Warren and the School District work together, the field is once again coming back to life as a soccer field.  A new concession stand and restrooms are being constructed, preparation for a new scoreboard is in place, and this week the light poles were set in place.

Warren High School's soccer boys and girls soccer program are only a few years old but both have made great strides in bidding for state championship.
