Local Car Wash/City Police Officers Help Warren Waves

Sgt. Thomas Miller, Officer Griffith, and Officer Gallegos lend support to the Warren Waves as they raise funds to cover Jr. Olympic travel expenses.
The Warren Waves Junior Olympic Swimmers have had another successful year and have several swimmers qualify for the AAU Junior Olympic Games to be held in Houston, Texas July, 27th through July, 31st.  The following simmers qualified to attend:
Kenzie Baldwin
William Deen
Kenzie Friday
Laken Lovell
Logan Mann
Josh McClain
Rocio Merales
Sutton Nelson
Richard O'Neill
Victoria O'Neill

The simmers are looking for support from the local community to help alleviate cost incurred by the families for travel, hotel rooms and meals.  Any amount given will be appreciated.  Make checks payable to: Warren Waves Junior Olympics, P.O. Box 27, Warren, Arkansas 71671.

On July, 15th the #1 Wash and Shire Detail Shop, operating just across the street from the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County, assisted the young swimmers by allowing them to use the shop's facilities to wash cars to raise money.  The business donated soap and water to help them make money to cover part of the expenses for the trip.  Several members of the Warren Police Department stopped by to offer encouragement and make donations to the swimmers.  Sergeant Thomas Miller and officers Gallegos and Griffith stopped by and helped the kids.
