MONTICELLO — Renewal packets for the University of Arkansas at Monticello Sports Association will soon be arriving in the mailboxes of previous members, which means the annual membership drive is underway.
The UAMSA is the exclusive private fundraising arm of UAM Sports, providing annual support to all 11 teams and more than 200 Weevil and Blossom student-athletes. Private funds are essential in aiding the efforts of UAM student-athletes in competition and academics.
Memberships start at just $50 per year, and are valid July 1-June 30 of each academic year. Contributions may be directed to the UAMSA General Fund or earmarked for a specific program.
“Our student-athletes benefit greatly from the gifts of the UAMSA membership,” said UAM Director of Athletics Chris Ratcliff. “We are so appreciative of the support received during our major expansion over these past four years, and we look forward to continuing to build upon the relationships we’ve built, as well as find new fans and supporters. It’s an exciting time for UAM Sports!”
