The Warren Jr. Jacks and the 7th grade team traveled to England, Arkansas Thursday, September, 1st, to play the opening games of the Jr. High season. The Jr. Jacks, consisting of 8th and 9th graders, won their game by a score of 16-8. The the 7th graders, sometimes referred to as the "Baby Jacks," won their contest 18-8. It was a good start for both teams.
There will be youth football, played under the direction of the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley, for youngsters in grades 3-4 and 5-6. They will be playing on Saturdays in various towns throughout southeast Arkansas. Jr. Jack and 7th grade games will be played on Thursday nights.
