Mini Cheerleaders Help With Pink Out Night


The mini cheerleaders were rockin' the pink!
On Friday night, over 100 mini cheerleaders joined the Warren Lumberjack Cheerleaders on the

sidelines at Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium.  The mini cheerleaders had attended a mini cheer camp conducted by the high school cheerleaders and performed cheers and a dance routine prior to the Lumberjacks v. Lions football game.  They took part in the spirit line as the Jacks took the field and spent the first quarter of the game cheering with their heroes, the high school cheerleaders, during the first quarter of the game.

The evening was one of special significance as everyone donned pink for PINK OUT night, an evening to raise awareness about breast cancer. The cheerleaders, sr. high and mini, wore pink tutus, pink ribbons, pink socks, and released pink balloons while in the spirit line.  The football team joined in the awareness campaign wearing pink

socks.  Even the refs were in on the action to tackle cancer as they used pink flags during the game. Fans across the stadium also sported their pink.

The cheerleaders are under the sponsorship of Joanna Young.
