Lumberjacks Defeat Beavers


Sophomore Treylon Burks lit up the scoreboard all night long.
The Warren Lumberjack basketball team battled a quick, hot shooting Lake Village team Friday night at home.  Warren defeated the Beavers 48-40.

The leading scorer for the Lumberjacks was sophomore Treylon Burks who posted 21 of the 48 Lumberjack points.  Burks hit three free throws and nine baskets.  Two other Jacks posted double digits:  sophomore Javion Robinson and Hayden Lassiter each with 10.  Marcus Miller added four points.  Grant Barrett added 2, and Travion Blueford scored 1.
