Weevils Release 2017 Football Schedule

The newly released set up includes five home games for the Weevils at WCL Cotton Boll Stadium. UAM finished the 2016 season with a record of 4-7 (4-7 GAC) and will look to continue that improvement from a year ago.

"We are looking forward to the 2017 season," head football coach Hud Jackson said. "This is the first year of the new schedule, playing teams in different spots, and with only five home games this year. Our players are working hard this off-season and we are excited about the intensity we are seeing."

Coach Jackson added in regards to off-season recruiting, "High school recruiting is going great. We are looking forward to next Wednesday for national signing day, and hope we have a great showing for our signing class here next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m."
