Four Lumberjacks Sign With Colleges on National Signing Day

Four seniors from the 2016 4A State Championship Lumberjack football team signed with colleges on February 1, 2017, National Signing Day.  They signed in the presence of their parents, other family members, fellow teammates, coaches, and a host of other who came to celebrate with them. The four are Devonte Brown, Dennis Daniels, Hayden Lassiter, and Byron Person,

Devonte signed with the University of Arkansas at Monticello and will become a Weevil.

Dennis announced that he had chosen to sign with Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia where he will become a Mulerider.

Hayden Lassiter signed with Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia and will play for the Tigers.

Byron Person announced that he had chosen to sign with Arkansas Baptist Junior College in Little Rock.  He will join the Stampede of the Buffalo.
