MONTICELLO — University of Arkansas at Monticello football coach Hud Jackson announced the 2017 signing day class on National Signing Day, Wednesday, February 1.
The total number of commitments includes 36 high school seniors and 10 mid-year transfers.
"Very excited with this group of high school players," head football coach Hud Jackson said. "We feel that we have some very talented players who are tremendous people. Our coaches did an outstanding job of locating players that fit what we do here at UAM. We feel the future is bright and these new Boll Weevils will make an impact on the field, in the classroom and in our community!"
"Our mid-year signees will fill some spots that we needed immediate help in. They have been working hard to blend in with our team in our off-season workouts. We hope that their presence in our program will generate competition that will make our team better."
