The Warren Jr. Jacks and Jr. Lady Jacks played the Monticello Jr. teams Thursday night in Monticello. The Jr. Lady Jacks, under the coaching of Jae Kell, defeated the Jr. Lady Billies, 61-19. Four of the Jr. Ladies racked up scores in double digits. It was a fantastic night for the girls as substitutes were made and all got in some playing time.
The Jr. Jacks, coached by Josh Nix, took control of the court and defeated the Jr. Billies, 47-35.
However, the night was not as kind to the senior teams. The Lady Jacks held close to the Lady Billies through the first quarter but dropped behind losing 66-41.
The Lumberjacks plagued by early foul trouble still managed to lead most of the game. In the final minutes the Billies and Jacks tied and went into overtime. The Lumberjacks lost in the final second 57-55.
