Lumberjacks On The Way To State Title Game

Just before leaving for Fayetteville, to play for a state soccer championship, the Warren Lumberjack men's soccer team was invited to stop by the First United Methodist Church in Warren and eat lunch.  Members of the church had prepared a wonderful meal for the players and Coach Rusty Densmore.

First United Methodist's Pastor Gary Harrison was on hand and the invocation was rendered by Bro. Russell Rhoden of First Baptist Church. Warren Mayor Bryan Martin was present to wish the team well!

The Lumberjacks play Saturday, May 20th at 12;00 noon on the campus of the University of Arkansas.  According to Coach Densmore, the Lumberjacks have 28 players and are the first team from South Arkansas to reach the finals of the state soccer championship.

Go Lumberjacks!!!
