MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello has finalized and released its youth summer camp schedule with the following sports hosting camps throughout the summer, which includes Softball, Baseball, Volleyball, Football, and Men's Basketball.
Football: JUNE 2 | 7-On-7 Tournament | (PDF FLYER)
The Weevils will host their annual "Slingin' it in the South" 7-on-7 Passing Tournament on June 2 at a cost of $200 per team with a guarantee of five games, plus any tournament play. Contact Head Coach Hud Jackson (870-460-1701) or Assistant Coach Marcus Hill (870-460-1601) to register.
Football: JUNE 5-7 | Youth Camp | (PDF FLYER)
UAM Football will host its annual "Playing the Boll Weevil Way" Youth Camp for campers in grades K-8. Camp will start at 8:30 a.m. each day, end at 12:30 p.m., and be held at Cotton Boll Stadium, and the UAM Athletics Practice Indoor Facility, as well as Cotton Boll Stadium.
Cost is $75 per camper, which covers camp instruction, an official camp t-shirt and a camp photo. Campers will need to check in at 8:15 a.m. on the first day. For more information please contact Coach Marcus Hill at 870-460-1601.
Baseball: JUNE 12-15 | (Registration Form) | (Camp Website)
UAM Baseball will host an all-skills camp for participants ages 5-14, and campers will have to opportunity to learn from current UAM Baseball staff members, UAM players, and other area coaches. The cost of the camp for a half day from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. will be $85 if pre-registered and will be $95 if paying the day of the camp. The cost of the camp for a full day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. will be $125 if pre-registered, and will be $135 if playing the day of the cap.
The camp will be held at Weevils Field, and the UAM Athletics Indoor Practice Facility, and all campers participating will receive a camp t-shirt, and those participating in a full day of camp will also receive lunch included as well.
Men's Basketball: JUNE 19-21 | Shooting Camp | (Registration Form)
UAM Basketball will host a Shooting Camp for girls and boys in grades K-9 inside Steelman Fieldhouse from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Volleyball: JUNE 20-22 | (Registration Form)
UAM Volleyball will host a youth camp from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. inside Steelman Fieldhouse, and the camp will cost $60 for each individual if pre-registered for the event, and will cost $70 at the door the day of the camp.
