Warren Players Shine in All-Star Game

The Arkansas High School All-Star Football Game was held Friday, June 23rd at the University of Central Arkansas with three former Warren Lumberjacks and two Warren coaches, Bo Hembree and Clark Watkins,  working with the East Team.  

Lumberjack quarterback Hayden Lassiter threw three touchdown passes for the East All-Stars as they routed the West All-Stars 55-14.  He threw two of his touchdown passes in the first half.  Running back Dennis Daniels scored a touchdown for the East, while Byron Person recovered a fumble.  

Monta Thomas, who played for Hampton this past year, caught three touchdown passes in a game that was delayed 38 minutes in the first quarter due to lightning.  

Friday night's All Star Game was the 62nd Annual Arkansa High School Coaches Association All-Star Football Game.  The East leads the overall series 34 - 26 - 1.
