Arkansas Signs Top Player In Texas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson announced that 6-8 forward Reggie Chaney originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Razorbacks for the 2018-19 season.

During his junior campaign at Findley Prep in Las Vegas, the versatile forward averaged 11.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.6 blocks per game as he helped lead Findley Prep to a 33-4 mark on the season.

Chaney is ranked the 89th player in the nation and the No. 1 ranked player in the state of Texas by 247Sports.com. He has a four-star rating by ESPN and is ranked as high as the No. 24 power forward in the class by 247Sports.com.


He played his summer ball for RM5 Elite on the Nike EYBL circuit and averaged 11.4 points and 7.3 rebounds, shooting 63 percent from the field. During Peach Jam, he put up 11.4 points per game and added 8.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.
