Treylon Burks Nominee for Landers Award

Warren Jr. Treylon Burks is a 2018 nominee for the prestigious Landers Award, symbolic of the best high school football player in Arkansas.  Burks is considered one of the best football players and top athletes in Arkansas and has numerous division one offers from throughout the nation.

The Landers Award will be announced Wednesday night at 6:30 P.M. and will be carried live on KATV Channel 7.

The Lumberjack football program has produced several nominees over the past years for the award.  Reid McKinney won the award in 2001 and Ricardo Kemp and Jarius Wright, and Hayden Lassiter are past nominees.

Burks has already been named All-State and Player of the Year in Class 4A in Arkansas.  He is a multi- talented athlete who participates in football, basketball, baseball and track.  He is a good student who does very well in the classroom.
