Lumberjack Soccer Off to Great Start

The Warren Lady Jack and Lumberjack Soccer teams opened the 2018 season with wins over Arkansas Baptist Monday, February 26 at Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium.  The girls won 5-3.  Goals were scored by Brittaney Bradlford, Daisy Mondragon, Elizabeth Garay and Isabel Densmore.

The Warren boys, under new head coach Taylor Wood, beat Arkansas Baptist 12-1.  They jumped out early and dominated the game.  Scoring for Warren were the following players:
Jesus Tinoco, Javier Tinoco, Daniel Mondragon ( 4 goals ), Salomon Garay ( 4 goals ), Santiago Garcia and Dominic Figueroa.  The sportsmanship rule was invoked in the second half.

A good crowd was on hand for both games.  The girls and boys have both had very competitive programs the past several years.  In 2017, the boys finished second in class 4AAAA and the girls were also in the state playoffs.  Steven Quoss, coaches the Warren Lady Jacks.
