The Warren Lumberjacks completed a successful 2018 conference 84A baseball season by winning third place in the district tournament Friday, April 27th held in Star City. The Jacks beat Crossett 14-3 to secure the third place finish. The boys now head to Malvern to compete in the Regional class 4A tournament.
Warren was competitive throughout the season in the conference and completed the regular season, which included conference and non conference games, with a record of 15-13. They now get the opportunity to pursue a chance to compete for the state 4A championship.
SRC will follow the Lumberjacks in their pursuit of a state title. Lumberjack baseball and softball teams drew very good crowds throughout the season, especially at Lumberjack and Ladyjack fields, located at the Warren Baseball/Softball Complex.
