Lumberjacks Enjoy Hamburger Lunch/Tickets Available For First Game

The Warren Lumberjack Football Team and their coaches were treated to a hamburger lunch Friday, August 10th by County Clerk Karen Belin and her husband former Sheriff Butch Belin.  This is an event the Belins have been sponsoring for several years.  The team and staff are treated to delicious hamburgers and a special desert.  Little food is left after the meal.

Butch Belin has assisted the team every Friday night during football season for many years.  He helps transport equipment for road games and helps with logistics, all as a volunteer.  Thomas Hollingsworth also helps each week.  They are of tremendous help to the players and coaches.

Remember, the Lumberjacks open the 2018 season Saturday, August 25th at North Little Rock High School against Southside Batesville with kickoff set for 12:00 noon.  Tickets are available in advance at Arkansas Superior Federal Credit Union, First State Bank, Warren Bank & Trust Company, Union Bank and Rob Reep Studio at 225 S. Main Street.  Anyone interested can message the Lumberjack Booster Club.  Get  your tickets in advance.  You will save money and the Warren Schools get to keep some  of the proceeds.  A big crowd is expected and all Lumberjack fans are urged to attend and support the Jacks.

The game is part of the Hooten's classic and is sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  Both Warren and Southside Batesville enter the contest as highly ranked teams in Class 4A in Arkansas.

The game will be livestreamed by salineriverchronicle.com through the NFHS network.  Be sure to have your subscription updated on lumberjacklive.com.  Cost is $9,95 for a month, $30.00 for three months or $50.00 for a twelve month period.
