The 2018 version of the University of Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevil Football Team scrimmaged Saturday morning at Monticello High School's field as they prepare for the season opener August 30th at SW Okla. St. Seeing some time on the field was former Lumberjack, Wallace Smith, who is a freshman on the team. He worked some at defensive tackle and was the nose man on the extra point and field goal block team. Wallace was wearing #91 during the scrimmage.
Wallace Smith is listed as a 6' 3" 300 pound defensive tackle. Also listed on the Weevil rooster is former Lumberjack Kaleel Thomas a 6' 1" 198 pound wide receiver. He is listed as a Jr.
The 2018 Weevils hope to be competitive in the Great American Conference.
