Lumberjacks In Spring Football Practice

The Warren Lumberjack 2019 football team is undergoing Spring Practice.  Drills began Monday, May 13th and will conclude next week.

The Lumberjacks will be defending their 2018 conference championship and again seeking a playoff spot and a chance to compete for a state title.  The 2018 team graduated a number of outstanding players, several of whom will be playing college football in 2019.  There are some experienced returners although the team will be overall younger.

The Lumberjacks have won the past seven consecutive conference championships and won state titles in 2014 and 2016.   They were second in the state in 2013 and 2017.  Coach Bo Hembree will be entering his 20th season as Head Football Coach.

During the tenure of Coach Hembree as Head coach, the Lumberjack Football program has won or shared a total of 15 conference championships and won 4 state titles.  That goes with three second place state finishes.  The Jacks have made the playoffs every year.

Coach Hembree always says that each year is a new team and the 2019 team will have to improve daily and perform on the field to win, just as past teams have done.  The season is just around the corner.  Get ready Lumberjack fans and turn out and support this team!  They will no doubt compete and always fun to watch.
