The game was officially on the schedule that was published by Warren High School, however, we believe it may have been what amounted to a scrimmage, as the game is not listed on Max Preps, and was played prior to the senior girls game, a scenario that almost never occurs.

It was tight battle in the early minutes as Warren led 4-3 with 5 minutes to go in the first quarter. Warren senior Vincent Steppes went to the free throw line and added to that lead moments later.

Warren’s defense was outstanding early on as Quinn Payne stuffed an Eagle shot.  At the end of the first Warren led 12-8.

In the second quarter the Jacks went to work offensively, jumping out to a 21-8 lead. TJ Phillips hit a three to move it to 24-8 Warren.

The Lumberjacks led 32-19 at the break.
