The Hermitage Hermits racked up a victory Saturday night as they defeated the Beekman Tigers, 44-16.

The Hermits got the ball to start the game, being put in good field position due to a failed onside kick by the Tigers.  The Hermits ran 3 plays when senior Kentrez Davis ran 39 yards for the Hermits first score, the 2 point conversion was run in by Davis, also. The Tigers ran many plays but failed on a 4th down to end the quarter and give the ball back to the Hermits. (8-0).

During the second quarter, the Hermits pulled away.  Davis ran 11 yards for a score and also threw a pass to senior Nick Marshall for a 60 yard touchdown. Both 2 point conversions were successful. Davis also ran in another score to end the half. (30-0).

In the Third quarter, the Tigers scored their first touchdown of the game, but the Hermits answered right back with an 18-yard touchdown run by sophomore Monta Thomas. Both teams went back and forth with the ball, when senior Bradley Day broke a few tackles for a 35 yard score. Only one of the conversions was successful. (44-8).

The final quarter of the game was built on a long drive by the Tigers where they scored the only points of the quarter. (44-16).
