This weekend the boys went to the 1st Annual Southeast Soccer Classic in Monticello. Friday night the Lumberjacks faced off with Hamburg. The Jacks showed an impressive team victory beating Hamburg 6-2. Saturday the Jacks faced Arkadelphia and came out victorious with a 5-1 victory. Next up for the Jacks was the hosting Monticello Billies, where the Lumberjacks continued playing well together and beat the Billies 7-0. Making it to the championship game, where the Lumberjacks would once again face Hamburg who came out of the loser's bracket to make it to the finals. The Jacks took care of business and Won the tournament with a 6-0 victory.
"We looked really good this weekend, played well as team and moved the ball around well. The Lumberjacks have been working hard and look forward to the season. We will continue to improve and continue to grow as a team. We hope that everyone will come out and support these men as they prepare for the 2015 season!"
