The Star City Jr. Bulldogs came to Warren Thursday night where they ran into a resilient Warren Jr Jack team. Near the end of the game with time running out on fourth down, the Star City quarterback was headed to the goal with what looked like it was going to be a game-winning touchdown when a Jr. Jack landed a hit that could be heard in the stands, forcing a fumble. Warren recovered the fumble and remained victorious defeating Star City 14-12. Don Whittemore is the head coach for the Jr. Jacks.
Prior to the Jr. Jack game, the 7th grade teams faced off with Star City defeating Warren's 7th grade 24-6.
