Both the Warren Lady Jack Softball team and the Warren Lumberjack Baseball team fell short against very good Star City teams, at Star City Thursday March, 17th. The girls lost 14-3. Shamiqua Pickett was 3 for 3 hitting and Kaylee Mann was 2 for 3. The girls are now 1-3 overall and 1-2 in conference 8AAAA. The girls are working hard to improve.
The boys came up short 5-1 to a veteran Star City team. Hayden Lassiter did an outstanding job pitching by going the distance and giving up only 2 earned runs on six hits. This very young Warren team is playing very competitively and getting better.
Next game up for both boys and girls is March, 29th at Monticello.
