Chris Gragg Gives Back During Thanksgiving

Pine Bluff, AR, November 2016– Gragg, Incorporated., whose goal is to help Southeast Arkansas citizens by doing a common good,  started the holiday season by being a blessing in the Pine Bluff, Jefferson County area. “Over this holiday season six families will have full refrigerators thanks to Gragg Incorporated.” said founder and sponsor Christopher L. Gragg, tight end for the Buffalo Bills (NFL).  Chris is a product of Southeast Arkansas, attending school in the Pine Bluff, Newport and Dumas Districts and graduating from Warren High School (2008).He attended the University of Arkansas as a scholar athlete in 2008-12, and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2013.  Chris suffered a season ending injury during the 2016 Pre-season and is rehabbing at his home in Northwest Arkansas.  Although he is not on the field this season he still feels that it is a tremendous blessing to have a career that allows an opportunity to bless others.

Working in conjunction with Jefferson County Neighbor to Neighbor, DHS and local churches in the area, six families were selected to receive a holiday food blessing.  One of the things we found as we were doing this out-reach is that since the school districts now have a week-long Thanksgiving break, there are families that have critical food concerns, not only for holiday fare but for the everyday essentials, because most of the families are dependent on the school district for breakfast and lunch.  With children being at home during the holidays, regular food items are needed as much, if not more, during breaks.
