Hayden Lassiter to Receive Paul Eells Award

Warren High School is proud to announce that Hayden Lassiter has been named the 2016 Paul Eells Award winner which is given to one Arkansas High School football player each year who best exhibits perseverance, determination, courage and resolve in the face of adversity.  The award is named after the longtime voice of the Razorbacks and KATV sports director, the late Paul Eells.

Hayden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Lassiter.  He played quarterback and defensive back for the 2016 4A State Champion Lumberjacks and was named the MVP of the championship game.  He was named All-State.

Hayden and his coach Bo Hembree, along with four guests have been invited to attend the Landers Award Reception and Dinner and Awards Show, January 18, 2017 in Little Rock.  The dinner will be held at 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by a live broadcast of the Landers Award Show at 6:30  p.m. on KATV Channel 7.
