There appears to be a good number of candidates out practicing and it is obvious there is some excellent talent on the team. Some big shoes will have to be filled as a result of graduation. Warren is losing an outstanding quarterback and running back from the 2016 state championship team as well as several outstanding defenders. There is a good number of returning starters and the potential of a very good team for 2017.
As Coach Hembree always says, there has to be dedication, commitment and leadership. Each year is a new season. Warren fans are excited as the team enters the summer off season and prepares to defend it's 8AAAA conference and AAAA state titles.
