2020 Lumberjack Sports Hall of Fame Inductees Announces

The Warren Lumberjack Sports Hall of Fame Committee has met and selected the class of 2020.  Members discussed a number of suggestions that had been submitted for consideration as well as names that have been previously considered.

Selected for the 2020 class are:
1. Zack Burks, III-An outstanding star basketball player in high school and college.  Played college for the University of Central Arkansas.

2. Trey Brown- A two sport star in baseball and basketball.  An outstanding student as well.

3. Kisha Ollison-One of Warren's finest track stars in the 1990s.

4. Jimmy Sledge-A former Lumberjack football player himself, and the longtime voice of the Lumberjacks on radio station KWRF.

Presentations for induction into the Hall of Fame are made at the annual Sports Hall of Fame Awards ceremony in May.  This year, due to covid-19, there is not expected to be a ceremony.  Information on presenting the awards will be forthcoming as made known by the school district.
