Monticello Regulators crowned 2020 USSSA State Champs

The Monticello Regulators competed in the Arkansas State Championship in Cabot, AR on the weekend of July 11-12.  The Regulators began pool play on Saturday with a tie against the Bryant Blacksox 7-7
then ended the night with a win over the Faultline 11U 5-4.  The Regulators started Sunday off with another win against Faultline 11U with the score 7-2 advancing to the Semi-Finals.  In the semi-final, the Monticello Regulators defeated the Junior Deputy A’s-Chandler in a narrow win 7-6 securing their spot in the Championship game.  The championship was played against the Junior Deputy A’s-Taylor where the Regulators were in control the whole game winning the contest with a score of 21-1.  The Monticello Regulators completed the year with a record of 10-2-1 winning two of the three tournaments the team competed in.
