Hope Harrod Makes All-American, Seven Hermit Cheerleaders Are Invited to London

By Lindsey Hayes/salineriverchronicle.com reporter

At each National Cheerleaders Association camp, each girl that attends has the opportunity to be nominated for All-American Cheerleader by the NCA staff. The squad members can be nominated for 6 different talents which include jumps, stunts, leadership abilities, dance, motions, and tumbling. Trying out for the team is always optional. 7 girls from the HHS cheer team were nominated at camp this summer and 1 of 3 that decided to tryout, made All-American. These 7 girls have been invited to cheer this December in London at the New Years Day Parade. These cheerleaders include (left to right) Jade Grice, Lauren Dees, Lindsey Hayes, Katrina Saunders, Lyndsey Foote, Hope Harrod, & Kari Broughton. Hope Harrod made the All-American team.
