The Lumberjack JV consisted of 9th graders, who have completed the Jr. High season, 10 graders and a few 11th graders. The Jacks competed well and had the lead with only minutes left. Pine Bluff hit a long pass on third and long to score and then recovered a misplayed kick off to secure the win. Warren's offense and defensive lines competed well and the skilled players showed some real ability. Tenth grade kicker Andres Jacinto kicked off well for the Jacks. Both sophomore Blake Forrest and freshman Riley Cornish played some quarterback. Zander Hemphill, a 9th grader, showed promise at linebacker. Several ninth grade receivers and running backs looked good. Sophomore wide receiver Weston Hembree made an outstanding touchdown catch.
Warren coaches were running the standard offenses and defenses utilized by the varsity. There was a good Warren crowd on hand for the contest.
