Lumberjacks Playing Baseball in Prescott Tournament

The Warren Lumberjack Baseball Team has been participating in a tournament in Prescott.  Thursday, February 28th the team played their first game.  It ended in a tie due to time constraints.
On Friday, March 1st the team fell to Dierks by the score of 4-2.  Dylan Higgins was the starting pitcher.  He went three innings and allowed just one run on three hits, while striking out six.  Kendall Pope retired six of the seven batters he faced to end the game.  Warren had five hits with Cade Reep leading the way with a 2 RBI double that scored Easton Sinclair and Braden Jones.  Sinclair, Jones, Higgins and Riley Cornish had the Jack's other hits.

Saturday, March 2nd, the Lumberjacks defeated Hampton 11-1.  The winning pitcher was Aiden Reynolds who went 4 and a third innings.  He struck out eight.  The Lumberjacks were led offensively by Kendall Pope and Jett Reep with two hits each and two RBI's each.  CAde Reep and Dylan Higgins each had RBI singles while Riley Cornish added a single and scored three runs.  Braden Jones had one RBI and scored a run.

The boys will face Camden at Camden on March 4th.
