Coaches Top Cops in Annual Fundraiser

Last Monday night, the Cops and the Coaches squared off in the Warren Gymnasium for the Annual Cops v. Coaches fundraiser to help secure funds for the Warren Basketball program.  The well-attended game ended with the Coaches eeking out of 55-52 victory over the Cops.

In addition to enjoying watching the "old timers" take to the court, the fans also were treated to a halftime performance.  Teachers from the Warren High School and Middle School along with secretaries and other personnel teamed up to perform a dance routine for the crowd.  At the conclusion of their halftime presentation, the "young at heart" cheerleaders gathered students and spectators from the audience to join them in a second dance number.

Coach Jimmy May indicated that he was thrilled with the excellent turnout and that he was grateful for all the volunteers who made the event a success.

Mrs. Laura West shakes those poms!

Mrs. May (front), Mrs. Coffel and Mrs. Panicola keep "perfect" time...almost!

It's a good thing these cheerleaders were not in synchronized competition!
