Lady Jack softball played in Dewitt on Friday April 8. Lady Jacks lost to Dewitt on the first game with score of 18-2. Shamiqua Pickett went for 2-3 at bat. For the Dewitt Karli Rivers was 4-5 at bat. Lady Jacks and Dewitt played a second game where Dewitt won with a score of 11-1. Shamiqua Pickett hit a double and was walked on her 2 times at bat. Dewitt Libby Cox hit a single, triple and was walked during her times at bat. Karli Rieves hit 2 triples and a double going 3-3 at bat.
Lady Jack Softball was invited to play in the El Dorado Chemical Classic. Lady Jacks played Smackover in the first game losing with a score of 7-0. Shakeria Stovall bunted to get on single and also had one stolen base. Kaitlyn Goodwin stole 4 bases during the course of the game.
Lady Jack Softball played their second game against Bearden losing with a score of 10-0. Jordan Jones of Warren hit one single and Shakeria Stovall a bunt single. Bearden K. Pennington hit a home run and was 1-3 at bat. H. Pennington was 2-2 at bat. Lady Jacks Softball lost both games which put them out of the tournament. Lady Jacks will be back in action on April 12 against Dumas in Dumas.
Lady Jacks are now 1-7 in conference and 1-10 overall.
