Monta Thomas Wins State Event in AA Track Meet

Hermitage Junior Monta Thomas won the long jump event at the Arkansas AA track meet held at England High School on Monday, May 2, 2016.

Thomas won with a long jump of 21 feet 11 inches.

He also competed in the high jump, placing third, with a jump of 6 feet 3 inches. Additionally, he placed third in the 100 yard dash.

Monta is the son of Avia Thomas and Geno Gilbert of Hermitage.
