Lady Jacks Defeat Lady Billies

A memorable season continues for the Ladyjack soccer club with dominating and convincing wins this week over conference foes Lisa Academy and previously unbeaten Monticello.  The week began with the Ladyjacks traveling to Little Rock to take on Lisa Academy.  The Ladyjacks struck early and often and put the Lady Jaguars on their heels.  The game would never be in doubt and the Ladyjacks cruised to a 7 to 0 victory.  Scoring for the Ladyjacks were Hannah Richey, Neyleea Gonzalez, Leticia Crisostomo, and Denisha Stallings.

To close out the week, the ladies from Warren traveled to Monticello Friday night in a contest with the undefeated Lady Billies.  The winner of this game would claim sole possession of first place in the 4-4A conference and a high seed in the upcoming state tournament in Batesville.  The Ladyjacks jumped out to a three goal lead at halftime and would continue to dominate the match in the second half, scoring four more goals.  Although the Lady Billies would manage to find the back of the net twice in the second half, the game was never in doubt.  In a strong offensive performance, Denisha Stallings, Hannah Richey, Emmalee Goad, and Isabel Densmore would score to put the game out of reach.

Coach Quoss said, "The girls have really grown together and become a strong and cohesive team this season.  They always rise to the occasion and play extremely well together.  They are the best group of girls and I am very fortunate to be able to coach these talented young ladies."
