Both Warren Soccer Teams Advance to Round Two in State Playoffs!!!

Both the Warren Lady Jacks soccer team and the Lumberjack soccer team have won in round one of the State Soccer Tournament.

The Lady Jacks played Batesville and defeated them in round one by a score of 3-1.  Sophomore Denisha Stallings scored all three of the Lady Jack points for a hat trick.  The team advances to round two and will play at 10:00 a.m. Friday.  The team is coached by Steven Quoss.

The Lumberjack soccer team took on Brooklyn Thursday afternoon and mercy ruled and defeated them by a score of 6-0.  The points were score by six different Jacks:  Tyler Davis, Antonio Dubon, Soloman Garay, Oscar Padilla, Santiago Garcia, and Patrick Smith.  The Jacks will play in round two of the tournament Friday at noon.  The team is coached by Rusty Densmore.

The original location of the tournament games, Burns Park, had to be changed due to flooding of the fields.  The teams played at Central Arkansa Christian.
