New Championship Football Signs Up

Mark Jennings, Mayor Denisa Pennington, Carlos Yepes, and Athletic Director and Head Coach Bo Hembree

A cooperative effort between the Lumberjack Booster Club and the City of Warren has resulted in new signs being installed at five locations entering the City of Warren.  The big signs list the Championships won over the past 19 years by the Warren High School Lumberjack Football teams.  They detail four State titles, three state runner up finishes and 15 conference championships.

Pictured is one of the new signs installed on U. S. Highway 278B ( Church Street ) entering Warren on the east side of the city.  There will be a total of five signs installed entering Warren from each state highway.  Standing by the sign is Head Football Coach Bo Hembree, sign maker Carlos Yepes, Warren Mayor Denisa Pennington and Booster Club President Mark Jennings.

During the picture taking, there was discussion of having an addition to the signs made in the future that would include State Championships won in other sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer and track.
